A professional narrative package built around the Blackmagic 12K URSA — 12K full-frame raw with the built kit (viewfinder, matte box, NiSi filters), riding an OConnor 1040 fluid head on flowtech 100 sticks for locked, weighted moves. The LS300X through a Light Dome II gives you a big, soft, controllable key; two C-stands and a heavy combo stand fly the light and rigging; a 12×12 solid gives you negative fill and shape; and the Schoeps CMIT captures broadcast location sound.

Rent it when a single scene has to carry real production value — cinema sensor, a key you can actually shape, negative fill for contrast, plus sound and power handled in the same call.
How to set it up
Build the 12K on the OConnor 1040 / flowtech 100 and shoot BRAW — set the counterbalance and drag so pans and tilts settle on their own. Key through the Light Dome at 45° up and off-axis on a C-stand; set the 12×12 solid opposite as negative fill to carve one side of the face into shadow — that contrast is most of the 'film look'. Fly any overhead or flag off the second C-stand and boom the Schoeps just out of frame. Expose to the right and light for a single motivated source rather than flat coverage.
