When it’s the right call

Turns hard sun or a bare light into soft, window-quality light while keeping most of the punch — the first diffusion most DPs reach for. The 8x8 size covers one or two people and mid-size sources.

Where to set it up

Fly it between the source and the subject — the bigger the cloth and the closer to the subject, the softer the result. Needs its frame and two combo stands, cornered into the wind and bagged heavily.
