When it’s the right call

Dims part of the frame WITHOUT softening it — like a dimmer that works on sunlight. Single net pulls about half a stop off whatever it covers: a hot window, a bright forehead, the near side of a walk-and-talk.

Where to set it up

Slide it between source and the too-bright area; feather the edge so the transition is invisible. Flies on a single C-stand arm right where you need it; sandbag the stand.
